Meet Dr. Uche Franklin

Dr. Uche Franklin, DNP, APRN, CNP, FNP-BC, FNP-C, RN, PHN, is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Medical Director of Willa Healthcare Family Clinic. She brings more than 16 years of healthcare experience and cares for children and adults with attention to prevention, ongoing conditions, and everyday health concerns. Dr. Franklin earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Metropolitan State University. She holds Family Nurse Practitioner certifications through AANP and ANCC and received the President’s Outstanding Student Award in her Doctor of Nursing Practice program. Her approach begins with listening. She explains care options clearly and develops practical plans that respect each patient’s goals, culture, family, and daily life. Her clinical interests include diabetes, high blood pressure, preventive care, and women’s and men’s health. Her procedural experience includes colposcopy, LEEP, Pap tests, IUD and Nexplanon placement and removal, minor skin procedures, joint injections, and wound care.
